A Bit Personal
Building a business where I can provide honest, high-quality accounting services to my community has long been my goal—and I’m grateful and proud to have achieved it. My accounting career began in high school, where I had the opportunity to work for a local accountant while completing my studies. Gaining real-world experience alongside academic training gave me a strong foundation and a practical understanding of the tax and accounting needs of everyday clients. Balancing online coursework with the demands of business ownership wasn’t always easy, but each challenge strengthened my dedication and the experience shaped my work ethic and helped me grow into the professional I am today.

Through God’s grace, determination, and the unwavering support of my family, friends, and clients, I established Accountable Bookkeeping & Tax Services LLC in fall of 2022.
​
Many of you have known me since my early years working alongside Cyndy Tripp, and I am deeply thankful for the trust you’ve placed in me. Your encouragement throughout my education and transition into owning my own firm has played a huge role in my journey and has meant more than words can express. Thank you for allowing me to continue serving you with integrity, care, and commitment.​

A special thank you to my hard-working parents, Gonzalo & Ojilvia Barrera, who immigrated to the United States from Apipilulco, GRO, MX in search of a better life and bigger opportunities. Also, to the best mentor I could ever ask for, Cyndy Tripp.
I was raised here in Northwest Arkansas and don't plan to move from this beautiful state! Aside from my passion for helping others in accounting, I also have a passion for nature, gardening, being creative, and more importantly, studying the word of God and bettering my relationship with Him!​

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and our families, watching soccer, playing chess, working on various craft projects & puzzles, learning Portuguese & Biblical Hebrew, and of course, spending time with God.​​
